Join us for a hands-on workshop led by Fender Bender, where you’ll learn how to design and sew your very own waxed canvas half frame bike bag from scratch. Over two 4-hour sessions, we’ll cover the basics of bag construction and guide you through the process step-by-step as you build your own functional, durable gear for your bike.
Whether you’re an avid cyclist, a maker curious about gear design, or just someone who loves a good DIY project, this workshop is a great way to dive into the world of bike bags with expert guidance.

- A finished waxed canvas half frame bike bag to take home
- Small class size for lots of hands-on help
What to bring:
Come prepared with a paper pattern of your bike’s frame.
Place a piece of paper behind your bike's frame and trace the inside of the frame. Be sure to mark any cables or other bag straps. If you have any water bottles, mark the top of where your bottle(s) sits. Cut out the paper pattern and be sure it’s a snug fit. No gaps. No overlapping.
Please note: Waxed canvas fabric and liner fabric are not included, but you’ll be able to choose your own colours from Stitch Lab’s waxed canvas selection. (purchased separately).
Skill level: Some sewing experience is helpful, but beginners are welcome!
