Sewing for Homeschoolers aged 7-11
Every Tuesday from September 29 - December 15
$409. 50 Inc. GST. This fee includes all materials.
In these small group classes, 6 students maximum, students will learn to sew on a machine, follow and assemble patterns, problem-solve, explore math, learn how to construct and deconstruct clothing and other textile projects. Instructor, Laura Kirby will provide knowledge, guidance, support, and instruction to help them make everything from stuffed animals, to bags, to garments.
Sewing provides lifelong opportunities to independently dream, design, and make. The possibilities are endless.
This is an unique opportunity for homeschooled children to interact with a small group of peers over a 12 week period. We ask that all students wear masks as social distancing is not always possible.
Registration is limited to 6 children. In case of increasing risk levels of Covid19 we will cancel at OUR discretion (with the help of Bonnie Henry) and issue a prorated refund for unused portions, please remain flexible :)
PAYMENT CAN BE MADE WITH E-TRANSFER, CASH, DEBIT OR CREDIT CARD.
** Please send along a snack and inside shoes as the weather gets wetter.
